Michael Taylor is President & CEO of Creation Publishing Group. He is an author, entrepreneur, personal coach and radio show host who has committed his life to empowering men to reach their full potential. He has a passion for the impossible and loves learning new things and empowering others. He is a loving husband and caring father who resides in Houston, Texas. In his spare time he loves watching movies, playing on his computer and doing projects around the house.


Explain how you developed. How do you approach writing novels? Do you start with an idea, a title, do an outline, etc? I would love to know what techniques you used to develop your reading audience. Everyone knows you have a loyal following and it's fascinating to know how these individuals learn about and buy your books.

I have been practicing meditation for more than twenty years. When I quiet my mind and listen to my heart the titles and outlines for my book sort of flow through me. It is an amazing process of creativity. I have created my audience by hosting a radio show and promoting my work on my website.


Describe your new book, for us and tell us about why you wrote it.

A New Conversation with Men is a my attempt to empower men to become better men. This book is written to be a resource for any man who wants to become a better husband, a better father or to simply become a better man. I wrote this book because I believe the greatest challenge we have in our society is to redefine masculinity and encourage men to embrace new roles as men in society.


Tell us something about the story that we can’t read on the cover.

This book is really a personal coaching session that is designed to empower anyone who reads it.


What makes this novel different from others in it’s genre?

I do not know of another book targeted towards men that challenges men to become better men and provides them with tools and insights to assist them in this quest. Therefore I think this book is unique in content and different from any other.


Who is your audience for your book, A New Conversation with Men? Who do you think will understand and gain insight through reading your book?

Although this book is specifically targeted to men, women have received great value and insight from the book. It is actually written for any man who wants to become a better man.


Is any of this story autobiographical? Were any scenes from the book inspired from what you know, or it is through your imagination?

Everything I write about is from my own personal experience of learning to become a better man. The content is the result of over twenty years of my own personal growth and development.


Do you feel that every manuscript you write is meant to be published?

My commitment is to publish every book that I write. If I can't find a publisher I will publish it myself.

No! Every book that I write is intended to be published and shared with the world.


Do you write the kinds of stories that you like to read? Who are some of your favorite authors?

All of my books are non-fiction empowerment type books which I love to read. My favorite authors include Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Neale Donald Walsch


What made you want to become a novelist?

I actually became a writer as a way of securing speaking engagements. I consider myself to be a speaker first and a writer second. I became an author because I have always loved books.


In your opinion, what is the absolute best thing about being a writer?

The best thing about being an author is the opportunity to share the lessons I have learned in life to help people improve their lives.
